What to Expect

People-First Approach

Indoor Pilates class with participants on reformer machines, in a room with sloped wooden ceiling, skylights, and warm lighting.

Everything we do is built around understanding your needs and helping you succeed—because when you thrive, so do we.

If you are booked into a private session, in your first appointment we will have a discussion centred around your general health and wellbeing , review any injuries you may have, any relevant medical history, past, current and future activity levels and previous Pilates/fitness experience and any goals you might have Pilates or otherwise.

Depending on your fitness levels and what your goal is we will run through some basic exercises in the first instance to see how you are moving and where your strength is at so that we have baseline to see your progression

The Focus is always on helping you achieve your goals.

We can help you decide whether the best solution to help you meet your needs and goals might be to continue with private sessions or to move into group reformer classes.

Private Pilates Sessions

1:1’s and 1:2’s are private, bespoke sessions that are designed around you.  They are great if you have not done Pilates before or have any injuries or health conditions that mean working as part of a bigger group is not suitable for you or if you have a specific focus such as a health and fitness goal or if you would just rather all the focus was on you. 1:2 or small groups work well if you have similar needs and goals.

Group Reformer Classes

Group Reformer classes are great for the majority of people especially if you would like a general all over workout on the Pilates equipment. Most of all they are fun, welcoming classes targeted at a Mixed Level, so provide exercises that will help a beginner become more acquainted with the equipment but also challenge the intermediate or stronger client.  This means the classes are inclusive for people through various stages in life.

Pregnant Clients can be accommodated in the regular reformer classes.

Sports Massage

A person receiving a massage, lying face down with a towel partially covering their back, while a masseuse massage their shoulder with both hands.

Sports massage earns its name from targeting injuries that are specific to sports, whereas deep tissue massage is more specifically focused on chronic muscle tension and stress reduction

Here at the studio I offer both. Whether you are dealing with a current injury or would just benefit regular massage to deal with chronic muscle tension and help reduce stress, massage can help improve both using a combination of techniques including

A Pilates studio with multiple Pilates reformer machines arranged in a row on a wooden floor, with a brick wall in the background.

Where do I start?

If you have not done Pilates before, been on a reformer before, we suggest that you start with either a private session or 2, the Absolute Beginner Course which runs occasionally or the Beginners/Intermediate classes which run continuously.

If you have been on a reformer before, feel free to jump in to the All Levels Class.

Complete Beginner Pilates

If you have not been on reformer before and you would like to know and experience more before going to a group class, you can either book a private session, join an Absolute Beginners Course if one is running or join a Beginners/Intermediate class.

Absolute Beginner Courses, 6 week programme designed to take you from absolute newbie to confidently entering a group class being familiar with the equipment and commonly used exercises.

If you are unsure of which route to take please do not hesitate to get in touch.

All Levels Reformer Class

An energising and flowing class where the focus is on improving your core strength and mobility. We maintain the basic principles of Pilates, combining classical reformer exercises with some more contemporary moves and fitness based exercises such as squats, lunges and press ups all performed on the reformer. Different options will be given to cater for beginner/intermediate and advanced clients. The class is also suitable for maintaining fitness during pregnancy.

Programming means that every day the class will be different but with elements of consistency so that you get to know the exercises, get to know the reformers and be more aware of how you are progressing.

Reformer Plus

This dynamic strength and mobility class blends the Pilates Arc, reformer, and targeted free‑weight work to create a full‑body experience that builds strength, enhances mobility, and leaves you feeling aligned and powerful.

The arc gives us overall spine and hip mobility.

The reformer helps lengthen the muscles to accommodate that mobility.

The mat and weights work helps add that extra layer of adding load through a deeper range of motion.

Perfect for anyone looking to build strength without bulk, improve mobility, and move with more confidence and control in everyday life.

All levels welcome — modifications and progressions are built into every block so you can work at the level that feels right for your body

We are here for the long term

We’re not just here for the now. We love creating lasting relationships with our clients and growing with them over time. Sometimes that might be helping you get stronger with pilates and other times that might mean dialling things back scheduling a massage.
